Objective: To commemorate National Voters’ Day and administer the Voters’ Pledge to promote electoral awareness and encourage responsible voting.

Introduction: National Voters’ Day is celebrated in India on January 25th each year to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, which was established on this day in 1950. The day is observed to promote electoral participation, especially among the youth, and to create awareness about the importance of voting in a democratic society.

National Voters’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and proved to be an effective platform for creating awareness about the democratic process and the significance of responsible voting. The administration of the Voters’ Pledge served as a symbolic commitment to uphold the principles of democracy and encourage ethical voting practices.

Participants, including students, and members of the staff took the pledge to uphold the principles of free and fair elections and to exercise their voting rights responsibly.

It Increased awareness about the importance of voting and the electoral process and helped Active participation of students and youth in electoral awareness activities.
